Mishae M. Boren joined the law firm of Bobby D. Mims P.C. in 2016. She was raised in Tyler and has many ties to the East Texas community. Ms. Boren graduated from the University of Texas, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
Before attending law school at Texas A&M University School of Law she interned at the Law Office of Bobby D. Mims P.C. It was here that her passion for criminal defense work was realized.
Ms. Boren believes that her experiences, education, and local upbringing give her a unique perspective and assist her to better understand the needs of her clients.
Ms. Boren is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Bar College, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association, Smith County Bar Association, Harris County Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association, Smith County Criminal Defense Lawyer Association, and Smith County Young Lawyers.
Ms. Boren has continually served her community by volunteering with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), East Texas Food Bank, National Adoption Day, and the St. Paul's Ministries. Ms. Boren has also participated in the Mock Trials of area high school students and many collegiate under grads. Ms. Boren is also a proud member of the Junior League of Tyler.
